Site is under construction - I will be adding blog sections and additional content. First phase on website construction is tuoring resources under "Dad Life."

What is this website about?
As a dad, I spend a lot of time and effort helping my children flourish. As they have grown, I’ve searched for resources to help explain different topics and reinforce the value of effort as part of a growth mindset. In particular, I’ve looked for visual tools to help us work through various subjects, especially math. Although I’m very comfortable with math and languages, I’ve wanted resources they can reference while doing their homework, giving them visual guides that help them tackle assignments with greater independence.
While I’ve generated these resources with AI, getting them right has taken significant time and effort. My goal has been to make the content accurate, visually appealing, simplified, and, most importantly, easier to understand than the explanations in their textbooks.
After countless hours Googling for ready-made resources and then creating my own, I realized I’m surely not the only parent spending hours trying to supplement their child’s learning and build their confidence. I wanted to make what I’d created available to others, with resources that are easy to access, download, and print as needed.
I felt the best way to do that was to knock out a few things at once: create a website where I could share these resources without the pop-up insanity or paywall restrictions, while also sharing some of my other passions through blog posts on local and national topics I care about.
Beyond being a dad, I am a retired Navy veteran. There are aspects of my 20 years of service that I’m very proud of, and that service has not ended. At my retirement ceremony, I emphasized one point: although I was retiring my Navy uniform, my service to the community, particularly Alexandria, and my advocacy on national issues I care about would continue. I’ll share those other aspects of service on separate pages of this website through blog posts and other resources.
If you’re here for the tutoring resources, welcome! Once I get around to adding other blog posts, if you find them interesting, great. If you don’t, come back and focus on the tutoring resources. The Facebook page will naturally have a mix of posts from time to time, so bookmark what you need.
For now, I’ll focus on adding more resources to the tutoring section over the next few weeks, including adapting some tutoring apps I’ve built to go along with the learning aids.
